For the past several years, Dantrippie.com has been where I have explored ideas related to faith, family, culture, and politics. This website was an outlet for ideas that were generally not suitable for a Sunday morning preaching context. The vision behind this website was to provoke thoughts about the intersection of faith and culture while keeping Sunday morning specific to exegeting the biblical text.

But as the Lord has moved me to a different mode of ministry, I want to clarify some of the changes that will take place on this site and inform readers about an exciting new initiative.

June 1st

Starting on June 1st, Dantrippie.com will feature more pastoral content. I hope to use this site to encourage believers to pursue a deeper love for Christ, His Church, and our communities. My goal is to encourage believers in the faith as we seek to know Christ more deeply.

This website may still occasionally address issues of social ethics, but its focus will be more devotional. My work on ethics and social engagement will move to The Center for Christian Thought and Ethics.

The Center for Christian Thought and Ethics represents a new endeavor that I am profoundly privileged to join. The Center for Christian Thought and Ethics (CCTE) stands as a bridge between the academy, the church, the workplace, and the public square.

Specifically, CCTE helps leaders analyze today’s moral problems, advise on ways to think and speak about these problems, and mobilize leaders to respond in a manner that is clear, convictional, and compelling.

I am deeply honored to contribute to this meaningful work as we cultivate a community dedicated to thinking Christian about issues that shape both church and society. You can learn more about CCTE’s work by visiting our website at Thinkchristian.com.
